A Little Bit About

Thanks for stopping by — I’m Kelly, founder of Cuir Gear and a long-time member of Portland’s LGBTQIA2S+ community. Cuir is the French pronunciation for “leather.” I started in the early ’90s when I earned the titles of Mr. Portland Leather 1992 and 

Mr. NLA Portland 1994.

 I began making gear for myself during my title years, and demand quickly spread through the community. Today, I specialize in custom-fit harnesses, playroom gear, and accessories—each piece handmade and tailored to the wearer.

Every build starts with a one-on-one consultation to choose the right design, fit, and hardware. Once your main pieces are cut and assembled, you’ll come back to the studio so I can finish the fit directly on you—ensuring a perfect result every time. Come in and try some things on.
